The person that built this home made mistakes…and look at the magnificent perch.
If you’re not making mistakes, then you’re not doing anything. I’m positive that a doer makes mistakes.
Legends are made; John Wooden is a legend. He says mistakes are OK…it means you are doing something (important).
People are fearful of making a mistake. They are so fearful that they Freeze and:
DON’T DO ANYTHING !!
So if you want to soar with the eagles, set your sights on something important to you and go for it. Here are some examples in my life of people that have “gone for it”:
22 year old – his parents said he was wasting his time holed up in a small room with ridiculous sounds (music) escaping into the house. What the parents did not know was that this young man was creating background sound and video tracks to amazing musicians. One day you will recognize his name. The young man learned from his mistakes what kind of background professional artists needed, and created them.
60 year old – fed up with his life. Decided to write a book that has led to him deciding to write two more. He has his life in balance and learned from all his mistakes how to make personal progress.
30 year old – frustrated withe her life. Is now an outdoor river guide in the mountains and loves it. Her mistakes led her to an enriched life.
Mistakes can and will paralyze each of us…if we let them. Fear creeps in and we become immobile.
Free yourself from fear and paralysis. Find a coach to help you overcome both.
- A person that “doubted” themselves would never build this
